About Us
Haley McRaven, PMHNP-BC
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, my journey began as a Certified Nursing Assistant before advancing through multiple areas of nursing including medical-surgical, obstetrics, orthopedics, and psychiatric care. These experiences provided me with a broad understanding of both physical and mental health, while reinforcing the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care.Throughout my career, I found a deep passion for psychiatric and mental wellness care, ultimately leading me to create Bren Collective — a practice rooted in connection, individualized care, and a deeper understanding of each person’s unique story.I am especially passionate about supporting the development of emotionally resilient youth athletes, helping individuals navigate chronic illness, and thoughtfully exploring the “why” behind mental health symptoms in order to provide personalized and meaningful care.

A former athlete himself and Army combat medic, these experiences shaped his belief in the importance of mental strength, connection, adaptability, and holistic wellness in both performance and everyday life.We believe mental wellness care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. At Bren Collective, we strive to create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and genuinely understood — not rushed or reduced to a diagnosis. Our approach focuses on looking beyond symptoms to better understand the full picture of each individual’s emotional, physical, and environmental experiences. While medication can be an important part of treatment for some, we believe mental wellness often requires a more comprehensive and personalized approach that may include lifestyle factors, emotional support, coping strategies, nervous system regulation, and meaningful connection. Our goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to better understand themselves, build resilience, and move toward lasting wellness. Our Approach to Mental Wellness
The heart behind bren collective
Finding the "why" Behind the Symptoms
I created Bren Collective with a deep belief that mental health care should go beyond simply treating symptoms. Every individual has a unique story, and I am passionate about understanding the underlying factors contributing to emotional and mental wellness challenges in order to provide thoughtful, personalized care.Creating a More Personalized approach to mental health care
Too often, individuals feel unheard, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis. Bren Collective was created to provide compassionate, individualized care that recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental wellness. My goal is to create a space where patients feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood.Supporting emotional wellness in young athletes
I have witnessed firsthand the emotional pressures many young athletes face and the lack of mental health support available to them. Bren Collective was built with a passion for helping children and adolescents develop confidence, resilience, emotional balance, and healthy coping skills both on and off the field using the Mental Training Plan approach.
